Bucky swallowed hard around the taste of blood but nodded. "Okay." A doctor. He could handle that, he thought. "Not in here, though. I don't want them coming in here." But this was the only place he felt safe. He wanted to keep other people out of here, but if he was somewhere else, would he have another panic attack?
He cut off that train of thought and continued to focus on his breathing. He finally managed to get his hand free from Steve's hold and wiped at his lips with the back of his hand. His hand came away red and Bucky grimaced at the blood on his skin and also under his nails.
