Steve just drove - he actually was planning on taking the long way back, just to let Bucky have a little time to himself, someplace safe, where he couldn't possibly be assaulted or even approached by other people. He let silence fall until Bucky spoke up - then he glanced in the mirror at the two in the backseat, humming a little.
"Hm? No, Penny's a fine name. You name her whatever you like." He smiled, supportively, hoping Bucky could catch it in the mirror. He hadn't been to see Peggy in weeks - he'd been busy guarding Bucky, after all. That was a full time job. Maybe... he should see if he could get away, though. Just for an hour or two. Hell, maybe he could bring Bucky with, though he doubted Bucky would want to sit in the hallway of a nursing home while Steve visited one of the residents. "I guess once you choose a name, you just have to use it consistently, and she'll figure out it's hers, pretty quick. Then you can get her some tags."
