Bucky nodded without speaking, shuddering into his mother's shoulder. Her fingers were on his shoulders, clutching him close, while Steve was a solid warmth at his back.

Jennifer Barnes said, quietly, "Let's get home, please." Bucky was quickly sliding into a panic attack and with the state his lungs and limbs were in, that would not be fun for anybody.

The car started to move, the cavalcade of cars all around. Bucky finally lifted his head to watch DC go by, breaking starting to even out as they got further from the hospital.
