Steve just kept his smile in place, not making a big deal of letting go of Bucky's hand - he didn't want to embarrass him, after all, when there was nothing wrong with wanting a little physical contact as reassurance. As soon as Bucky was up, he'd move the pillows to sit behind his back so he could lean against them and stay upright without having to work too hard at it.
