Slowly Steve managed to make sense of his surroundings, or at least bring enough of them into focus to realize that he had no idea where they were, which sent enough of a bolt of adrenaline through his system to have him levering himself upright, because if he didn't know where they were, it could well mean they were back in Hydra's hands.
Except that logic finally broke through as well, because of the fact that he was neither tied down nor sedated, which were both things that would have happened if they were.
He swallowed thickly, turning to face the other man finally, only half-managing to keep himself upright even sitting and not even fully on his feet, "Bucky, where are we?"
