He went still and silent when his target started to move. He gasped quietly anyways, but his face was turned to the concrete.
His left arm was barely responding, he could barely make a fist without shocks resonating up his arm - not the bright, blinding shocks of the chair, but duller, and he could feel them in his shoulder and neck and skull. His right arm was broken, the shoulder also maybe dislocated.
And his target was starting to wake up. He shifted, trying to move his feet, but nothing much was happening with his body - it was unresponsive, like he was awake but trapped in the ice.
